Program Director

Construction Workers

Victoria Ministries is an evangelical, non-profit organization located in central Brazil. Its main focus is sharing the gospel through camp ministries. Refugee Outreach Worker

Within Thailand there are thousands of refugees from all over Asia. The need to reach them physically and spiritual is enormous. Bangkok alone hosts several thousand refugees from countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Sudan, and more. Many of these families live in Bangkok without any legal means to support themselves and in fear of authorities. This presents the need for the local church in Thailand to work in partnership with the church around the world to reach out to these refugees in a variety of ways with the love of Jesus.

Do you feel called to serve refugees in the Bangkok area? Our team is looking for more workers to help minister to refugee families and individuals, especially Pakistani refugees. Help is needed in the areas of youth work, education, food distribution, relocation assistance, foundations coordination, medical assistance, and more. Do you have a background in videography and editing? ESEPA is looking for a videographer to help expand their courses and training by setting up podcasts and videos for courses. This would include filming as well as editing, including adding PowerPoint, transitions, notes, etc. as needed. Having a good eye for video production and a desire to create quality products is must. The ideal candidate would also be familiar with Final Cut with multi-camera options.

Online Studies Program Developer

Refugee Center Volunteer

Several local and international ministries have come together to form the Alliance Relief Refugee Care Center. They serve refugee families from Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan, providing hot showers, laundry services, refreshments, child care, language classes, table games, etc. Their purpose is to love the refugees like Jesus in practical ways. Staff and volunteers always are available to share their hope and faith in Christ with those who are seeking and lead them to becoming disciples of Christ.

Do you have a heart for Muslims and sharing Christ with them? The center is looking for volunteers to come and help run the center. All skills can be used, but there is a definite need for ESL/TEFL teachers, medical professionals, skilled knitters, and people with administrative giftings. Come build relationships with refugees and love them in word and deed. Knowledge of Farsi or Arabic would be extremely helpful, though not required.

Diary Farm Supervisor/Advisor

Roblealto Farm is a productive project of Roblealto Child Care Association. Proceeds and diary products from this agribusiness go to support and nourish the children under the ministry’s care. Impressively, Roblealto Farm is one of the top producers of chicken and diary products in Costa Rica, as well as for neighboring countries.

Do you have a background in dairy production at a supervisory or management level? Roblealto Farm is looking for a Diary Farm Supervisor & Advisor with a minimum of 5 years supervisory/managerial experience in diary production. Provide expertise and advice regarding diary production and the development of diary products. Help the farm grow and expand its diary business. Are you a native English speaker who would love to use ESL to build relationships with Malian Muslims? Go Global Mali is looking for ESL teachers for their morning and evening weekday ESL classes. Avance Program Assistant

Avance Internacional is a missions immersion program which provides an opportunity for college age and post-college age adults to explore their calling in cross-cultural ministries. Participants live with a Mexican host family, serve in local ministries under local leadership, and learn Spanish with national teachers. Participants take part in cross-cultural ministry training and spiritual formation processes to go deeper in their walks with Christ.

Do you have a passion to help you adults grow in their faith through cross-cultural ministry? Avance is looking for a Program Assistant to help out with a little bit of everything. This includes working with summer, semester and year participants, as a cross-cultural mediator between them and their Mexican host families, ministry supervisors and pastors. Coach participants throughout their Avance experience. Assist with administration and logistics of the program and event coordination. You will also assist in participant training.

You will be responsible for the administration, accounting, and ministerial relations for the program. You will provide communication support for all the staff including preparing and editing documents and emails, responding to phone calls, and overseeing the visa acquisition for YearOut participants. Additionally, you will be responsible for expense reports, banking transactions, and visits to ministry partners.

Sewing Center Manager

A sewing, handicrafts, and children’s learning center in South Asia exists to help create jobs and increase standard of living for poor girls and women from poor, slum areas. In the sewing center, girls and women create various products for export sales in the U.S.

Do you have management experience and a knowledge of sewing manufacturing and US sales? The sewing center is looking for an interim manager to provide overall supervision for the sewing center and other related centers. The ability to perform quality checks on finished products and knowledge of US consumer trends would be highly useful. Be willing to build relationships with the workers and ask questions while working alongside other local staff. There are great opportunities to love and serve these women by building relationships with them outside of work and visiting them in their homes.

Anti-Trafficking Intern

Sunny Miami is a vibrant city full of bright colors, loud sounds, and picturesque, tropical beaches. However, like so many other places, its beauty gilds a deeper darkness. South Florida ranks third in the nation as a destination for trafficking victims because of the region’s dependence on tourism and agriculture. Every year a steady stream of trafficking victims pour into the city, trapped into forced labor and prostitution. They desperately need a way out of their physical and spiritual bondage.
Explore God’s calling in your life to cross-cultural missions. Intern with a UWM team dedicated to fighting human trafficking in Miami, Florida. Be mentored by experienced missionaries. Learn Spanish. Partner with local churches. Work with victims of trafficking. Share Jesus with the least and the lost.

Pioneer Church Planter

United World Mission has a long history of service in Mali, a country with 30-40 unreached people groups. The Church in Mali is concentrated in 4 ethnic groups, who are working hard to reached their own tribes with the Gospel, but there is little to no outreach among the other ethnic groups. Because of the war in the north, Mali’s population enjoys an openness to the Gospel born of social instability and disillusionment with Islam, which makes conditions ideal for pioneer church planting movements among unreached people groups.

Do you have a heart for reaching the unreached and enjoy starting new things? Could you come to be a part of a church planting movement, equip and build up the local church in Mali? Your adventurous spirit, friendly personality, and cooperative attitude will be essential in establishing relationships with Malians. Discovery Bible Studies, translation work, literacy, Christian education, relief and development, and other skills are needed to assist the local church in Mali. Can you see yourself using these skills and gifts to serve God in Mali?

Program & Operations Coordinator

Based in Miami, the Life of Freedom Center is a dedicated, Christian community resource that offers free support and restorative programs for male and female survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. They also provide in depth education and training for faith-based or other communities desiring to reduce sex trafficking in their area through innovative programs both in South Florida as well as nationally with online training.

Are you a people person with administrative giftings and a heart for anti-trafficking ministry? LoF is looking for a Program & Operations Coordinator to help new volunteers get plugged in and keep existing volunteers on track. Oversee the volunteer application and orientation processes. Provide guidance, manage scheduling and ensure communication to keep all the programs and events running smoothly.

ESL Teacher

UWM partners with Great Commission Latin America (GCLA) in La Ceiba, Honduras, a church that is part of a holistic, church planting organization in Latin America. GCLA in La Ceiba has four holistic, compassion outreach programs designed to impact their city for Christ by serving the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the community: a childcare center, a health clinic, a home building project, and vocational workshops.

Do you have experience teaching ESL? GCLA’s Children’s Development Center is looking for an ESL teach to help teach and plan English classes for kids from 1st-11th grade. Develop plans for different age and language levels. Work in a cross-cultural team setting.

Executive Director

Christ for Miami began in the late 1980s as part of Latin American Mission’s focus on large cities, and they desire to see the Church impact the whole city with the whole gospel. As a result, they have established a network of relationships with many pastors and key leaders throughout the Miami-Dade area. Christ for Miami is looking for an Executive Director to oversee the administration, programs, and strategic planning for the organization. Work closely with UWM leadership to determine Christ for Miami’s organizational direction, develop and maintain fiscal resources, and implement programs to fulfill the mission and vision. Media Intern

Avance is a mission immersion program that has been around for over 40 years. Based in Mexico City, which has a population of over 20 million people, Avance provides an opportunity for you to develop your leadership skills and gain unique, cross-cultural experiences through classes, ministry, and living side by side with Mexicans.

Do you like to tell stories in creative ways and connect people with what God is doing in the field through social media? Avance is looking for a media intern to tell stories about what God is doing in Mexico City through words, photos, podcasts, videos, and more! Conduct interviews and interact with subjects. You do not need to have ESL certification or a teaching background for this position (although that would be a plus) because the ESL curriculum training will help you teach them everything they need to know.

International Pastor Trainer & Mentor

PUNCHWMI is a Christian foundation working to improve the lives of the poorest of the poor in rural Tanzania. Their primary method of accomplishing this goal is PUNCHWMI English Medium Primary School. Since opening in 2003, the school has consistently ranked among the top 5% nationally and has seen 100% of its graduates pass the nation exam to continue their education in secondary school.
Do you have a background in education and a desire to help teachers grow and improve professionally and spiritually? PUNCHWMI English Medium Primary School is looking for a Teacher Mentor to help build capacity and skills in local teachers. Alternate between observing village teachers in the classroom and formalizing evaluations at the Joshua Teachers Training College. Provide feedback and suggest techniques for improvement, working with small groups of teachers at a time to help develop their skills.

Holistic Development Advisor

Their primary method of accomplishing this goal is PUNCHWMI English Medium Primary School. Since opening in 2003, the school has consistently ranked among the top 5% nationally and has seen 100% of its graduates pass the nation exam to continue their education in secondary school.
Do you have a background in social work or community development? A local school is looking for a Holistic Development Advisor to help build their community development programs. Help train the project social worker and other staff members in organizing and maintaining up-to-date records for all sponsored children in the following areas: spiritual, emotional and physical health; education; communications with sponsor; home environment evaluation and reporting. Work with short-term missions teams to help them be more focused and effective in their efforts. Create, monitor, and supervise incoming-generating projects as directed by the Project Facilitator.

Early Childhood Education Project Advisor

Their primary method of accomplishing this goal is PUNCHWMI English Medium Primary School. Since opening in 2003, the school has consistently ranked among the top 5% nationally and has seen 100% of its graduates pass the nation exam to continue their education in secondary school.
Do you have a passion for and experience in early childhood education? A local school is looking for a Project Advisor to aid in the teachers’ professional development in the following areas: observing and evaluating students holistically; preparing lesson plans, materials and activities; establishing clear objectives for all lessons; classwork and testing assignment and grading; and instructing students individually and in groups using diverse teaching methods. Partner with the Project Social Worker to educate and encourage parents to help their children prosper holistically.

Church Planting Team Member

Church for the Island (Kirche Für die Insel) is an emerging multi-cultural church located in Hamburg, Germany. It is also a part of the City to City and Mosaik Church Networks. The church is rapidly growing especially among refugee and minority communities.
Do you have a heart to join alongside a multi-cultural church planting team in Germany? Church for the Island is looking for several people to join their team as they grow. Serve inside the church in the areas of discipleship, children and youth ministries, music and the arts, or web design. Serve in the community in the areas of small groups, outreach to refugee camps, and incorporating new people into the church family. Prior urban, multi-cultural ministry experience is a plus but not required.

Handyman

Su Refugio Paraguay is a ministry in the small town of Tobati, Paraguay, that provides a refuge for abused and neglected children. Their goal is to be a living example of James 1:27: caring for orphans and widows in their distress. Currently, they have 18 girls living here (placed with us under a court order) and hold training classes for women (at no charge), teaching them how to make things from home, while caring for their children, to sell for profit and help sustain their family.

Do you have maintenance and/or aquaculture skills? Su Refugio is looking for a handyman to assist with general maintenance of the facilities and help oversee their tilapia breeding program. Bus driving experience and general mechanic skills to help maintain their 2000 Hyndai bus would be a huge plus. Come to Paraguay and help serve the at-risk girls of Su Refugio.

Director of Education

Su Refugio Paraguay is a ministry in the small town of Tobati, Paraguay, that provides a refuge for abused and neglected children. Their goal is to be a living example of James 1:27: caring for orphans and widows in their distress. Currently, they have 18 girls living here (placed with them under a court order) and hold training classes for women (at no charge), teaching them how to make things from home, while caring for their children, to sell for profit and help sustain their family.

Do you have educational and administrative skills? Su Refugio is looking for a Director of Education to help run a government approved program that helps the girls of Su Refugio raise their education level to the proper grade. Help advance this program and serve as a part-time teacher. Disciple the girls and their caretakers. Teach English as a second language or computer classes for the girls and others in the community. Work with special needs children and their teachers.

Refugee Ministry Event Coordinator

The Bridges Program in Colorado Springs, CO, was created to reach out holistically to the many Afghan refugee families in the surrounding area. These families have many needs as they try to adapt to life in the United States. They desire to grow this program in order to meet the overwhelming needs of these families.
Do you have event planning experience and a desire to help serve refugee families? The Bridges program is looking for an event  coordinator to be responsible for all the planning, overseeing, and execution of events to benefit the Afghan refugee community in Colorado Springs. These events could include, but are not limited to: English camps, Women’s Salon Day, Child Safety Class, Sewing 101, children’s camps or programs, picnics, and other activities. Oversee planning, recruitment, organization, communication and volunteers for all event. Coordinate transportation to and from the event. Help with marketing and communications to the Afghan community. Partner with churches and other organizations.

International Christian Center (IKC) provides community, language and culture learning as well as sharing home cultures with immigrants coming into Denmark. BridgeWay Mexico will be launching a new international, Christian school in August 2017 near the university area of Coyoacán, Mexico City. The school is a partnership with United World Mission and the Christian & Missionary Alliance. The project is outreach-oriented, seeking to draw a wide variety of students, Christian and non-Christian, and including both Mexicans and expatriates.

The school expects to begin with 70 students this year, and grow to a capacity of 150 over the next three years as it moves toward the full K-12 vision. There is an urgent need for native English-speaking teachers for grade levels K-6 for the 2017-2018 academic year. Teachers must have teaching credentials. The school will pay a stipend to help cover living expenses.

Camp Director

Camp Kikomar is a Christian camp located in Veracruz, Mexico, along the Gulf of Mexico. The camp seeks to be a place of reconciliation with God and people by highlighting the unity and respect of the family while caring for the participants’ mental, physical, social, and spiritual development.

Camp Kikomar is in need of a camp director to plan, direct, and supervise all camp programs and staff, as well as to promote the camp. This person will be in charge of the daily operations of the camp including programming, management, and marketing. Additionally, this person will be responsible for creating a strategic plan for the camp, incorporating principles of leadership in Christian camping.

MILAMEX was founded in 1964 as a ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel to the Hispanic world in practical and relevant ways. Most of their ministry focuses on journalism and publishing ministries with content concerning current issues in the church.

After School Program Worker/Intern

In Romania, the slow implementation of economic reforms and corruption after the fall of Communism have caused persistent social and economic problems that continue to put society’s most vulnerable at risk: the children. Potter’s House is a faith based day care center for at-risk children. Each day 25-30 children come to the center where they receive a hot meal, clothing, tutoring, and counseling as a means of sharing Jesus’ love with these children and their families.

Come to Potter’s House and help serve at-risk kids in the after school program. Lead arts and crafts. Tutor kids in reading, math, music, and technology. Teach the Bible in VBS style programs. Share the Good News of Jesus with kids.

After the fall of the Communist bloc in the early 1990s, Hungary became very open to the gospel and spiritual things. Unfortunately, that door has closed. We partner with the International Community School of Bangkok, which provides quality education for missionary families as well as families of international business people throughout Asia. Although this is a Christian school, 60% of the students attending are Thai Buddhists. They are always looking for qualified, excellent educators to teach these students, freeing the missionary families to focus on their ministries and serving as a witness to Buddhist students and their families.

Himalayan Trekking Worker/Intern

In the mysterious foothills of the Himalayas live mountain people who have remained relatively isolated from the rest of the world for centuries. Many villages have no believers and no one intentionally trying to reach them, but their spiritual sensitivity is a receptive gateway.

Hike the Himalayas with purpose to remote villages at extreme altitudes where even normal cars sometimes cannot go. Discover hidden villages. Campus Ministry Worker

The Baptist Student Center is a ministry based on a main campus of a Thai university in Bangkok. As a part of this ministry, English teachers provide a variety of ESL classes to Thai students. They seek to teach ESL in an effective and professional way, and by doing so, to build relationships with Thai students in order to share the gospel.

Are you a teacher with a heart to reach Thai students with the gospel? The Baptist Student Center is looking for ESL teachers to teach ESL classes on a daily basis. Teachers are highly encouraged to connect with and invest in Thai students outside the classroom environment. Often times, there are no reasonable options for education in unreached areas of the world. As a result, missionaries have to divide their time between teaching their children and their ministry. This burden can often lead missionaries to move in order to find better educational options. If you are a teacher with an adventurous, missions-minded spirit, come serve the missionary families by providing quality education to their children so that they can attend to the ministry needs outside their doors.

Seminary Professors

Asia Graduate School of Theology (AGST) is an accredited consortium of theological schools in the Philippines. They are currently serving 110 students from 20+ countries including Asia, Africa, and Europe through residential programs. All programs seek to develop their students spiritually, intellectually, and morally to equip them with values, knowledge, and skills so that they can build up and renew the Church in Asia and beyond as scholars and church leaders.

Currently, AGST’s greatest needs are for long-term faculty in New Testament, Theology, and Church History. Additionally, AGST is looking for professors to teach in the Ph.D. programs of Peace Studies and Holistic Child Development as well as Chinese-speaking faculty in all fields to help train Chinese pastors and church leaders. There are also opportunities for short-term faculty to teach modular courses for a minimum of two weeks or for experts in developing and running on-line programs to help AGST establish on-line programs.

Faculty Development Professors

The Philippine Association of Bible and Theological Schools (PABATS) is a network of over 200 small Bible schools and institutions across the Philippines, dedicated to training ministers and other church leaders throughout the country. This grass roots network is a crucial venue of Christian leadership development because in many cases the education leaders receive there is the only biblical and theological training they will ever receive.

PABATS has a great need for faculty development to continue on-going training for their professors throughout the country. They are looking for Ph.D.s to come and teach modular courses in Biblical Studies, Education, Professional Advancement, or Administration during the summer.

Seminary Professor

Life Theological Seminary (LTS), the only evangelical theological institution in the northeastern region of this South Asian nation, is endeavoring to advance the Kingdom in this country by equipping men and women with a sound biblical and theological education contextualized to the local social and religiously plural community. In its 9 years of existence, LTS has been able to maintain growth and attract high-quality, long-term, national faculty members, while partnering with visiting faculty from the US, who are able to provide modular course every year. LTS offers a Bachelor in Theology and a Masters in Divinity.

Currently, LTS is looking for professors of Old Testament, New Testament, and pastoral theology either long-term or for modular courses.

Asian Theological Seminary (ATS) is an evangelical, interdenominational, multicultural, theological institution located in Quezon City, Philippines. They serve the needs of the Asian church and beyond by training and equipping Christian men and women to be competent, Spirit-filled servant-leaders who effect biblical transformation in society and the world. In its 42 year history, ATS has grown into a major interdenominational seminary serving approximately 100 different churches and para-church organizations in the Philippines and throughout Asia.

We are seeking pioneer workers committed to taking the gospel into largely unreached Muslim communities. These workers should endeavor to facilitate and complement the work of local Christians and have a heart for unreached people groups.

House Church Discipleship Facilitator

A beautiful city of 12-14 million people sits in a fertile river basin at the base of the Himalayas. The environment is a quickly growing economic center, but the people still hold high value for drinking tea for hours in tea houses and parks all over the city. There are many of opportunities to build friendships with local peoples from several dozen ethnic groups. You would be joining a missionary community that has lots of unity of heart and camaraderie as they engage in mission together.

We have opportunities for people to disciple, train, develop leaders in the local House Church. This opportunity requires a heart to listen well in order to serve leaders. The purpose is to come along side these amazing people to help them (1) grow in their own relationship with God through intentional relationships through community, (2) to engage with the Scripture to lay solid Kingdom foundations for intimacy with God, discipleship, and church growth, and (3) to live a life of worship, prayer, and mission to touch the world. This role would require regular meetings one and one and in groups as you build relationships and work with churches and communities of believers to engage them in discussion and living life together.

Discovery Intern

Are you a college-aged young man sensing God’s call to cross-cultural ministry but unsure of what comes next? Some of the greatest discoveries of life are found outside the classroom and away from our culture and comfort zone. Discovery Internship program exists for you to discover God’s world, His call, and His heart as you serve alongside full-time missionaries living and ministering among an unreached Muslim people.

The Discovery Internship is an opportunity to see missions “up close and personal” as you live with a missionary family in a village setting. Your days will be spent learning, serving, and doing missions alongside a full-time missionary as God equips you for a life of missional service. You must have a growing relationship with Jesus, a deep desire to learn and grow, flexibility, resiliency, and the ability to function well without first world comforts. We are currently seeking male, college-aged participants for six months to a year to participate in this internship.

Frontier Intern

Senegal is a majority Muslim country that maintains freedom of religion and political openness to Christian missionaries. There is a growing and urgent desire to learn English among the Senegalese. We partner with Professionals for Senegal (PFS), an organization that creates interactions between American professionals, teachers, and interns and their Senegalese colleagues to advance the wellbeing of the participants at professional, cultural, and spiritual levels.

Are you interested in gaining cross-cultural experience while teaching English or IT subjects? PFS’s Frontier Internship program offers a 3-6 month internship program. Live with a host family. Learn the local language. Teach English or offer IT and business training to university students.

Teachers & Staff

Bourofaye Christian School (BCS), located in Thies, Senegal, was set up to provide an education primarily for the children of missionaries in Senegal and the surrounding countries. BCS is a smaller school with about 90 students aged 8-16, and many of the students also board. With students from families representing more than twenty missions agencies, BCS is a healthy community with a family atmosphere. The teachers and staff make a difference by providing quality education to missionary kids, which allows these families to remain on the field in largely unreached areas of the surrounding nations.

Youth Ministry Worker

Taveta Children’s Assistance (TCA) developed from a 2007-8 outreach effort by a church in Taveta, Kenya, which primarily targeted orphans and children who had lost one parent to HIV/AIDS. TCA is a community-based ministry, open to Christians, Muslims, and others. It seeks to reach the local community with the gospel through the Taveta feeding effort and an educational financial assistance program, designed to help impoverished families send their children to public school.

Do you have a heart for developing and discipling teens and young adults? Design a youth program at TCA and local churches. Train local workers in youth ministry. Create and lead youth camps. Evangelize and disciple. Build relationships with teens and youths.

East Mountain, UWM’s principle ministry in South Africa, is an intentional community in Cape Town, dedicated to developing Christian Leaders for global missional service. Programs seek to integrate development of leaders in the areas of spiritual formation, theological education, and practical leadership skills.

East Mountain needs people with a passion for leadership development and an advanced degree who are willing to be part of their ministry long term. Your PhD is critical to the process of teaching and training others in sound, biblical theology. Train current and future leaders to be more effective, biblically rooted forces in their ministries and communities.

 

Leadership Foundations Cohort 2 Year

East Mountain, UWM’s principle ministry in South Africa, is an intentional community in Cape Town, dedicated to developing Christian leaders for global missional service. Programs seek to integrate development of leaders in the areas of spiritual formation, theological education, and practical leadership skills.

Among other opportunities, East Mountain offers a two year internship with focuses in five areas: Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Campus Ministry, Sports Ministry, or Media Support (especially videography). Grow as a leader alongside Africans who are also developing their leadership skills. Receive instruction in spiritual formation, biblical theology, and practical leadership skills in a cross-cultural context. Live and serve in a multi-ethnic community experiencing the growing realities of a globalized world.

Church Planting & Discipleship Facilitator

Once an Islamic cultural center, Islam is still the dominant, religious presence in Mali, claiming 80-90% of the population, although animistic, indigenous beliefs predate the influence of Islam. Also one of the poorest nations in Africa, Mali suffers from increasing religious and political stress. United World Mission began evangelizing and discipling Malinke people in the 1950s. Although the local church is present in the Malinke community, it is small and continues to invite our partnership.

We are seeking someone who has a heart for training and discipling leaders within the church. This person should have an interactive training style to convey concepts in a relational environment, along with proven skills in discipleship and practical leadership training and development. Strengthen Malinke churches through church planting, discipleship, and pastoral training. Help “train the trainers” so that future generations of the church can be strong in faith.

Holistic Outreach Worker

Senegal is a majority Muslim country that maintains freedom of religion and political openness to Christian missionaries. UWM has ministries in the capital city of Dakar as well as in rural projects in key areas of the country among the Serer, Diola and Wolof peoples. Present opportunities are in southern Senegal with the Diola people, who were the last ethnic group in the Senegambian region to accept Islam.

This would be a good fit for a couple with a heart for outreach and rural living. Join our team to work among these rural, unreached peoples of southern Senegal. Share the gospel and develop new believers’ faith through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting with a holistic approach.

Ministry Trainer

Kenya has seen tremendous church growth in the last century. However, the Kenyan church needs assistance in ministry training to strengthen the existing church and to help Kenyans reach the remaining unreached peoples in Kenya and throughout Africa.

We are looking for experienced leaders with a passion for church planting, leadership, and/or missions to partner with local churches. Serve alongside Kenyan Christians to train church planters and develop leadership ministries. Equip cross-cultural, Kenyan missionaries to spread the gospel to unreached people groups in their country and across Africa.

Grant & Information Officer

Following a time of war and genocide from 1998-2004, a US-Congolese partnership called the Congo Initiative formed the Christian Bilingual University of Congo (UCBC). UCBC offers a variety of degree programs taught in English and French, giving students access to a broad spectrum of academic resources from both major traditions. By providing emerging leaders with a new worldview, they are tackling issues such as: Peace and Racial Reconciliation, Ethical Leadership, Women’s Role in a New Congo, Technology Integration, and Environmental Sustainability.

UCBC is looking for a nonprofit grant writer with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Professional Writing, or a related field to serve as their Grants & Information Office. Coordinate proposals, donor report, and project knowledge management systems. Work in close collaboration with Congo Initiative staff and advisors in the DRC, USA, and UK to draft and edit proposals and reports. Coordinate compliance with various institutional donor rules and Congo Initiative policies and processes. Schedule evaluations, document success stories, and lead analysis of field experience to derive lessons learned. Outstanding grammar and research skills are needed in additional to excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
