International School Teacher

South Asia is one of the most unreached parts of the world- with over 95% of the massive population having little to no access to the gospel. This country is challenging terrain & not for the faint of heart- a blend of chaos & diversity, extreme beauty & extreme suffering. The experienced team in the foothills of the Himalayas make for a softer landing. There’s great need for pioneering spirits with hearts for contextualization & discipleship to connect the people of South Asia to the love of Christ.

Applicant Requirements
  • Follower of Jesus
  • A clear conviction/calling of serving through education
  • A heart to serve, develop, grow and influence
  • A deep passion and love of teaching and working with elementary school kids
  • Basic educational background either through hands on experience or formal training
  • Studied or taught (at some point or the other) in a western or international setting is preferred

Logistics:
  • Elementary Education background preferred
  • 2 year commitment, full time (40 hours/week)

  • Holidays: 8 week summer, 3 week winter, two week-long quarter breaks + national holidays

  • Veteran UWM teammates on the ground who will provide mentorship
