Mexico: Alcance Subterraneo
One of the greatest unreached groups of people in the world are those we get to see daily: the underground subcultures of our cities and towns. The metalheads, goths, punks, rude boys, skankers, rockers, and everyone in between- Alcance Subterraneo has fervently sought out the outcast and lost throughout México for over 20 years. Whether it’s through street preaching at the local subculture street market of El Chopo in Mexico City, to handing out the Underground Bible at alternative rock festivals, to an annual free and evangelistic music festival, to weekly services for those who are coming to the feet of Christ- Alcance Subterraneo is seeing the Gospel enter in every crevice possible of the underground. Without being connected to any other church, ministry, or evangelistic movement, the ministry has depended on the donations of those who work within the ministry and those on the outside. Please come alongside Alcance Subterraneo as they raise funds for:
- Purchase of Bibles and materials in order to create the Underground Bible ($15 USD per Bible, over 2,000 Bibles handed out in a year)
- Funds necessary to put on the annual Éxodo Fest: transportation, meals, and lodging for bands, rental of stage and musical equipment, food for all concert goers, amongst other details ($25,000-$35,000 USD annually)
- Funds for materials and staff attendance for evangelism at secular festivals taking place throughout the year ($1,000-$5,000 USD per festival)
- Funds for an annual Christmas outreach in El Chopo, providing a full Christmas meal to those who wouldn’t have one ($3,000 USD annually)
