Refugee Ministry Intern – Phoenix, AZ

As a Refugee Ministry Intern, use your passion & giftings to intentionally engage the ethnically + religiously diverse peoples that have resettled to Phoenix. Serve unreached people groups (Iraqis, Afghans, Somalis, etc) that have settled in North American cities through relational & holistic ministry in a variety of programs + opportunities according to your skillset. 

The nations have come to our backyard in our newest region: the Unreached in North America. There’s never been a better time to walk across the street and share the love of Christ with those who have experienced significant life shifts from cultures not receptive to the gospel. As a Refugee Ministry Intern, you will work alongside experienced missionary staff, learn how to share Jesus stories with refugees and immigrants, and use English to connect and build friendships. Living immersed in an apartment community with or near refugees, you’ll have regular rhythms with mentors and be trained in understanding and interacting thoughtfully with refugees and other Diaspora peoples in the US.

Internship Tracks: 8 weeks, 1 year, 2 years
