ESL Teacher

United World Mission in Bamako is part of an inter-agency effort to build relationships with educated Malians through English language teaching and related activities. By offering professional ESL training, the English center hopes to enhance Malians’ abilities to communicate in English and thereby open doors to meaningful employment, studies or cultural exploration, as well as for sharing truth.

Are you a native English speaker who would love to use ESL to build relationships with Malian Muslims? UWM is looking for ESL teachers for their morning and evening weekday ESL classes. Help teach classes and facilitate other activities, such as English movie nights, conversation groups, and other social events. Opportunity is open to any native English speaker with a minimum high school degree; ESL certification is not required.
