Matt & Nicole Paschall
After working several years with church planters and leaders in Senegal, West Africa, the Paschalls were invited to relocate to Eastern Europe to serve United World Mission in Leadership Development and Spiritual Formation.
Europe has experienced the greatest migration in human history. God is aligning churches and mission organizations to do something more than individual energies could ever accomplish alone.
Matt is overseeing UWM’s strategic response to this crisis in Europe by working with national leaders, refugee networks and evangelical alliances responding to the refugee crisis locally and regionally.
Our vision is to be a catalyst for missional movement in European churches to actively engage with unreached peoples in their cities. To fulfill this vision strategic, partnerships are being built with others willing to coordinate and collaborate in ministry to migrant peoples – developing leaders, planting churches and showing compassion.
Nicole is serving UWM Spiritual Formation by coordinating retreats and developing resources to help missionaries and national leaders to grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord. These tools are greatly needed for those serving on the front lines.
- Pray for the political situation in Europe to enable the gospel to reach the unreached.
- Pray for UWM’s 7 City Strategy as we prepare to train leaders and establish long-term mission teams with refugees.
- Pray for the Refugee Highway Partnership and Diaspora Peoples of Europe Networks to mobilize and equip churches and individuals to serve effectively.
- Pray for God’s peace and protection as there are 65 million forcibly displaced people in the world.
