Houston Flood Recovery Assistance
United World Mission of Charlotte, NC is mounting an effort to aid in the recovery of the flood ravaged residents of Houston, Texas. Through its US based partners, UWM is seeking individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations to assist in the recovery and re-establishment of families effected by Hurricane Harvey.
Together with our local partners, Wilcrest Baptist Church and Urban Catalyst, our foci will be to restore homes and lives of Houston residents and local refugees by cleaning out homes, distribution of household items, furniture, clothing, and other necessities. We are seeking helping hands, monetary contributions, household goods, furniture, clothing and other essentials as well as transportation of these items to our local partners.
