I am passionate about seeing the love of Jesus reach the youth of our community in Uganda in a holistic way and empowering the next generation to love and lead their community closer to Christ!
We have a skills program for vulnerable, drop-out girls in the village. These girls have the unique opportunity to continue their education to boost their level of academics specifically for business, as well as participate in skills training. Here is where they will learn important skills such as farming God’s way, and either tailoring or hairdressing. Alongside their education, we value the precious time we have with them to share the love and Word of God with our students so they are holistically equipped and empowered to go back to their communities and succeed.
I have the joy of teaching two of our Bible classes, a Geography and Culture class, I meet with a couple different individuals for discipleship, and I partner with local pastors to teach a Bible study for youth in the community.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray that God would continue to equip me for ministry to the girls in our program, specifically the ones who come from muslim or traditional belief backgrounds, so that I can intentionally love and lead them well.
- Pray that God would bring more workers to our ministry so we can take in the harvest he is preparing for this community.
- Pray that God would be glorified through every thing we do through our program and that we would be spirit-led in every interaction.
