Wendy D’Auria
I will be coming alongside a Christian foundation working to promote spiritual and economic development by equipping local leaders in rural Tanzania. PUNCHMI English Medium Primary School is one of the main ways that the foundation is working toward accomplishing this goal in the village of Karansi. The school is a place of spiritual and academic excellence for local children of poor families.
My main role will be to help build capacity and skills in local teachers through mentoring and training. I am excited to see God use these teachers as leaders impacting the students in their community and giving them a chance to break the cycle of poverty.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray for wisdom and growing trust in God as I continue this journey to Tanzania.
- Pray for continued development of the project and expansion of the school as they move toward self-sustainability.
- Pray for the spiritual and educational growth of those in the school and the surrounding community.
