|What initially drew me to Thailand was its strategic location in the 10/40 window. Thailand is considered an unreached nation, as less than 1% are Christian.
I have been living in Bangkok for just over three years now. It is such an honor and privilege to call this city my home.
Day to day, I work for an NGO that focuses on supporting Thai women as they leave the sex industry and begin a new life. I am a part of their outreach efforts where we focus on bar outreaches, street outreaches, and outreach programs. Our hope is that through these programs we are able to build relationships with women and provide a soft landing for them to rest, heal, and transition into a new lifestyle.
In addition, I serve as the Community and Spiritual Formation Director for the Avance Thailand leadership team here. Avance exists to guide, support, and mentor the next generation of missionaries in hopes that they will stay here long-term and continue in what God is doing in Thailand.
