What initially drew me to Thailand was its strategic location in the 10/40 window. Thailand is considered an unreached nation, as 94% of locals are Buddhist, 5% are Muslim, and less than 1% are Christian.

I have been living in Bangkok for just over two years now. It is such an honor and privilege to call this city my home.

My first year I spent in full-time language school studying Thai. This gave me a greater understanding of culture, values, and gave me time to invest in a local church.

My second year I shifted my focus to compassion ministry work at Samaritan Creations. At Samaritan Creations, we do regular bar outreaches, build relationships with women in the sex industry, and invite them into a new beginning. We have a prostitution aftercare program that offers a soft landing for them to rest, heal, and transition into a new lifestyle. Here they are introduced to new ways to build a hopeful future for their families with the help and grace of our Lord.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for wisdom and protection for our team as we see and experience heavy, dark situations.
  • Pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of these women and that He would bring them ultimate hope and healing.
  • Pray that the Lord would give boldness to professing Thai believers, empowering them to share the hope that they have.
