Oaxaca Christian School (OCS) is a private, independent, Christian school located in southern México in the city of Oaxaca. The primary purpose of OCS is to support the educational needs of English-speaking families involved in ministry in and around Oaxaca, who want their children to be educated in English and prepared for university in the United States. OCS offers classes from grades 1st to 12th, and is a college preparatory school but also accommodates students who do not plan on attending university. The vision of the school is to support families in ministry through education.

At OCS, there is a need for a special education teacher. I will be serving those students with special needs as well as the other students in the school in holistic ways. I will also be helping with teacher training to equip the teachers with tools for their classrooms. My hope is to bring in new ideas into the classroom to make teaching and learning more exciting and equitable to all students at OCS.

Prayer Requests:

• Pray for my health, specifically my chronic stomach issues, as I get readjusted to the food in Mexico.
• Pray that I may have grace on myself and others around me as I learn and adjust to the different culture, transportation system, and lifestyle in Oaxaca.
• Pray for me, the students, the families, the teachers, and other staff at OCS. For unity and understanding as we work as a team to better serve our students and families.
