Rich & Rachel Hendrikson
|We are passionate about sharing the hope of Jesus with people who have received a miscommunicated view of God. Many Europeans reject God without knowing who He truly is. We work alongside European nationals to share the Gospel and make disciples.
We worked for 10 years in France and are now transitioning to Birmingham, England. Our last 8 years in France have been working with a church that has over 40 nationalities represented. We will be taking that experience with us as we move to our next ministry assignment. We will be working with a young church plant. The Gate Church is located in a lower-income, multi-cultural community in the heart of the city. We will be involved in teaching, discipleship, evangelism, leading Bible studies, creating outreach opportunities, and helping the church create a multi-cultural community that represents their neighborhood. We will also be working to establish a youth ministry within the church. With over 25% of Birmingham’s population being under 16 years of age, the need for youth ministry is greater than ever.
We will continue to partner with a youth ministry called TeenStreet. The main event for TeenStreet is a youth conference in Germany during the summer. Teens from all over Europe gather together to be discipled, worship God, and discover Him in an environment like no other. We have the privilege to work along side an international team to develop the content that is shared on stage and translated into over 15 different languages. We are two of the speakers for this event and lead the speaker team.

- Pray that the church in Birmingham would grow not only in numbers but in the depth of their relationship with Christ.
- Pray that a youth ministry would begin in the community.
- Pray God would provide many opportunities to share the gospel as we live in the community.
- Pray that God would guide us as we prepare for Teenstreet. We want to communicate what God wants us to share to the teens.
