We are serving in church planting and leadership development primarily in Mexico City’s greater metropolitan area. In addition to the main church in Chiconautla, where I am the senior pastor and from which church-planting teams are sent out, our network includes churches in La Presa, Tizayuca, Héroes Tecámac, Nicolás Romero, and Zumpango. Key leaders from network churches meet regularly with our Chiconautla staff for prayer and study. Leadership interns shadow experienced leaders and gain hands-on experience in ministry before taking on any particular leadership role. We also work closely with leaders among the broader Baptist Convention, encouraging ministry expansion and the planting of new churches.
We have five children who were all homeschooled: Emily and Caleb (graduates of Biola University), Kelly and Nicolas (students at Westmont College), and Bethany. The kids are also active in ministry and Bethany continues to do school at home.
Prayer Requests:
- For those hearing the Gospel in each of our ministry locations, that many will come to Christ and be transformed in Him.
- For our leaders to continually grow in Christian character, spiritual maturity, and integrity.
- For the construction of the new church building in Chiconaulta: for building permits to be obtained, and that construction will be completed in a timely manner once the project begins.
