Rebekah Meyerend
| I am currently serving in low-income areas of Daytona Beach, Florida serving children at risk and their families. Previously I worked in Mexico for over twenty-five years. My passion is to reach these children and families families with the Good News of Jesus Christ by discipling them and equipping leaders to impact and transform their communities. By ministering to children, we are equipping future leaders to carry the Gospel to this generation and the next.
My vision is to bring hope and encouragement to families, helping fulfill practical needs, and bringing them into a relationship with Jesus Christ. As the family is strengthened, the children have greater potential to live fulfilling, God-centered lives. This is carried out by helping students with their educational needs, bible clubs to teach gospel truths to children and their families, parenting classes, holistic ministries, and training young people to teach the bible. |
Prayer Request:
- God’s love will transform children and their families by bringing them into a relationship with Him.
- Leaders & volunteers to serve alongside me in ministries here and in Mexico.
- God’s provision of financial, emotional and spiritual needs for this ministry. That I will grow deeper in my walk with God as I depend on Him and see Him fulfil these needs.
