Traffic & Project Manager
Located in the highlands of Guatemala, Viña is a small non profit media-production ministry producing life-changing media for people groups in Central America, as well as around the world. The multicultural staff are passionate about empowering ethnic minorities, and all oral learners, to grow into their full potential in Christ. Besides producing culturally relevant media, Viña also works with partners to empower them in the effective use of media in ministry.
As the Traffic Manager, you will work closely with the Executive Director. You will keep track of all phases of media projects to ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and things are moving smoothly. This includes scheduling staff and resources, encouraging efficiency and productivity in the staff, generating status reports and recommending process improvements. You will also do some data entry; making sure all necessary materials are available. You will also help make routine decisions about which staff member is tasked with the different aspects of each project.
Requirements include: Prior experience in a media production facility. Must have a passion for media and digital technologies, have a creative flair, relish working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple project deliverables. Have solid people management and communication skills and have strong resourcing skills. Possess great organizational competencies and be able to manage the creative process from start to finish. Be a team player with good interpersonal skills for listening, conflict resolution, work load distribution, diplomacy, and is willing to accept constructive criticism and work harmoniously in a cross cultural environment. Have a Level 3 fluency in Spanish. (NOTE: This can be attained at language school in Guatemala as part of your on-ramp training as a new missionary with Viña.)
