Student Life Coordinators

Shelter of Hope and Excellence Foundation (SHEFO) is a registered Tanzanian non-government, non-profit organization. At the heart of SHEFO is Siha Leadership Pre- and Primary School, a private Christian school committed to academic and spiritual excellence. Most of the students are from the rural poor living in the local community. SHEFO’s primary partner is a USA-based non-profit, which includes a child sponsorship program.

SHEFO exists to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people in the area. We are looking for loving and energic individuals or a married couple to be our Student Life Coordinators. As the Student Life Coordinator, you will work with the staff and faculty of SHEFO to make a positive impact in the lives of our more than 1,000 students. Our boarding students live in a family-based housing model rather than a dormitory model. You will have a leadership role in creating a culture that meets the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all students. You will also be vital to creating a nurturing family-oriented environment for our boarding students.

Candidates should have a background in early childhood development, youth ministry or related field with 2+ years of experience.
