Anti-trafficking, Trauma & Refugee Workers

This is an opportunity for women who wish to partner with local Christian organizations that build relationships with refugees and victims of trauma or human trafficking. You can directly help and assist those in dire situations while giving them the hope Jesus gives.

For this opportunity you will need:
– Fluency in French or a willingness to learn the language (though you can start ministry using English while you’re learning French)
– The ability to listen and exhort
– Knowledge of the basics of psychology
– Basic training in counseling
– Social work skills
– Knowledge of the Bible and of the principles leading to freedom in Christ
– An understanding of the dynamics of human trafficking
– Patience
– The ability to work in a non-judgmental way
