“I assist the Warm Heart Community in all aspects of food. We have many events hosted by our partners and are also a fully functioning cafe! We also have a hostel and many of the volunteers come on a work-away basis. Volunteers exchange their labor for a nights rest and a meal.”

” I will use my business skills and hospitality gifts to help plan and lead community events at the Center for Latin American Mobilization (CLM), which is a branch of Avance. The CLM is dedicated to helping awaken, involve, and connect the body of Christ in Latin America with God’s global mission. I will also live with a Mexican family, work with a local Mexican church, and take Spanish classes.”

“I will be working at BridgeWay, a bilingual Christian international school in Mexico City, where I will be serving students from diverse cultures and spiritual backgrounds. The students at BridgeWay come from Canada, the United States, and Mexico, and they receive instruction in both English and Spanish. During my first year at the school, I will be helping out with after-school activities and substitute teaching whenever needed. As I enter into my second year, I will transition into teaching a specific grade level. By spending time with the students and their families each day, I will be able to build long-term relationships, walk alongside them in their spiritual journeys, and share the gospel with those who do not know Christ.”
