Unprecedented Growth in Italy

For the past three years, we’ve been working towards forming a local (in-Sicily) partnership with another church or group. In January of this year, a relationship that we’d been nurturing began to take shape, and we agreed that we wanted to do something together this year. We began meeting 2 or 3 times a week to foster our relationship, talk theology, pray, etc.

In the meantime, both sides of this partnership have been experiencing growth and breakthrough in terms of vision increasing, answered prayers and just the timing of fruitfulness from our endeavors. We were able to sense the Father’s pleasure with our progress towards partnership.

One of the fruits of our outreaches and discipleship endeavors together was new members being added to the local church. At first, just randomly, inexplicably, and then 2 or 3 more through new conversations and relations. This group represents an unprecedented “land-slide” of new members being added to the church; a church that’s been around for 40+ years.

At the church, this past weekend, we baptized 8 new people! Praise God. This is the largest group to be baptized here; it’s really quite unprecedented!  We’re grateful to the Lord for the increased yield in harvest: in what is His harvest field.
