Relief for Christians in Crisis in Iraq

This family is among the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who have fled the northern city of Mosul after Sunni militants captured the city last week. Many have gone to the nearby Kurdish region, which has remained largely peaceful.

You have all seen and watched with horror the terrible atrocities that are being committed against our Christian brothers and sisters in Northern Iraq. Threats of “convert back to Islam or be killed” are savagely being carried out. Thousands are suffering, and our hearts ache to stand with them and provide emergency services, supplies, prayers, and love for those in need.

Partners International, headquartered in Spokane, Washington has ministry partners that are ideal first responders. They are locally-based, know the language and culture, and have access to the local resources that can be delivered immediately.

Their partners are working to provide relief through:

  • Setting up medical centers to assist refugees
  • Medical teams
  • Pharmacy services
  • Care packages of food, water, and blankets

If you are interested in helping to support these efforts, we ask that you prayerfully consider a gift today to the Partners International Global Relief and Development Fund. Your gift will be used to provide urgent emergency care, supplies, medical support, and the love of Jesus Christ to suffering families in Kurdistan, and other countries where refugees are struggling to survive.
