Teacher for Vocational Center
A church in rural Uganda that partners with UWM missionaries provides several community development programs. Their current programs include: Bible teaching for pastors, widow care, and Bible studies for teen girls and young mothers. The newest program is a vocational training center for girls between 12 and 18 who have dropped out of school.
Are you passionate about teaching and/or vocational training? This ministry could use your help to teach these young women. The first 6 months of program concentrates on academic learning: English, math, business, health, and Bible. The second 6 months adds vocational training such as farming, sewing, hair dressing and cosmetology, and other handicrafts.
