Refugee Outreach – Coffee House

SAM, a refugee ministry, began in 2008 as an outreach to immigrants in a small town outside of Frankfurt, Germany. They build relationships with refugees through weekly visits to camps, where they provide tutoring, sports programs, language and legal services. SAM also runs a coffee house open to refugees that also serves as a neutral venue to discuss faith and beliefs. An average of 500 people frequent this coffee shop each week.

Has God burdened your heart for refugees? SAM is looking for short and long-term missionaries to come for a minimum of 6 months and help run a coffee house focused on outreach to refugees. Coordinate church and community volunteers. Organize artistic events with local musicians and artists. Develop relationships and follow-up with refugees, especially those attending weekly Discovery Bible Studies and reading groups.
