Su Refugio Paraguay is a ministry in the small town of Tobati, Paraguay, that provides a refuge for abused and neglected children. Their goal is to be a living example of James 1:27: caring for orphans and widows in their distress. Currently, they have 18 girls living here (placed with us under a court order) and hold training classes for women (at no charge), teaching them how to make things from home, while caring for their children, to sell for profit and help sustain their family.
Do you have maintenance and/or aquaculture skills? Su Refugio is looking for a handyman to assist with general maintenance of the facilities and help oversee their tilapia breeding program. Bus driving experience and general mechanic skills to help maintain their 2000 Hyndai bus would be a huge plus. Come to Paraguay and help serve the at-risk girls of Su Refugio.
