Campus Ministry Worker

Colombia has suffered a generation of drug wars and instability, and churches in many areas still live under the threat of violence. Many Christian churches have remained faithful to God and have grown through this period of trial. The church needs continued theological education and leadership development, as well as commitment to meeting the significant social needs of their land.

Unidad Cristiana Universitaria (UCU) is a campus ministry in Bogota, Colombia, that began in 1968. This campus ministry focuses on evangelism and discipleship in and throughout student and professional spaces around universities in Colombia. UCU frequently confronts themes the church ignores, such as abortion, sexuality, and HIV/AIDS, as a way of practically engaging students and providing a platform for the Gospel. If you have a heart for campus ministries, we are looking for people to come alongside students, share Jesus, and disciple them to strengthen their faith.
