Andrew & Julie Halbert
We are serving in Costa Rica. Andrew has been on the faculty at ESEPA since 2014 and has served as the Academic Dean of the undergraduate since January of 2016. In January of 2018 he assumed responsibility for the academic Master’s programs. He continues to teach and assist the local church through preaching.
I became a certified Refit® Instructor in May of 2017. I developed a relationship with a local gym that is run by a Christian couple, Ronald and Marcela, whose desire is to use exercise as a bridge to share the gospel. Our prayer is that these exercise classes will provide an opportunity for Julie and Marcela to share Christ with nonbelievers and encourage believers along in their faith journey.
Together we believe that God has given us the opportunity to participate in evangelism and discipleship as we seek to see Christ proclaimed until he returns.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray for the recruiting and training of students and faculty at ESEPA.
- Pray for Julie and Marcela as they seek to impact our local community for Christ.
- Pray that our kids would grow in grace and knowledge of God at home, at school and at church.
