Rodolfo and Nancy Rose (Longworth) Umaña, and their two girls, Anna Margarita and Elizabeth joined the LAM Canada missionary family in 2006. They work with the Iglesia Bíblica Monte de Dios in Heredia. Rodolfo previously served with Camp Roblealto and ESEPA Seminary as Director of Development. Nancy Rose is the daughter of retired LAM missionaries Don and Nancy Longworth.

Rodolfo and Nancy Rose sensed God was calling them to serve full time in the area of preparing workers for the mission field, and so they took a step of faith into this ministry alongside their home church. Their primary ministry is to develop the home church’s Ministry Training School, with the larger goal of planting a new church every two years.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for wisdom, discernment and good time management in the Umañas’ ministries.
  • Pray for the leadership of their church, and also that new believers are added to the congregation; that they will heed God’s direction, not depart from obeying Him, and to be aware of the wiles of the enemy.
  • Please pray for God’s timing, direction and resources.
